The article deals with the topic of analysis of growth parameters of selected fast-growing trees tested for production of biomass in short rotation coppice in aim to improve methodology of clone evaluation. Current results are presented of a detailed evaluation of height (H), diameter (D) and number of stems of 36 willow and poplar clones grown on 4 experimental plantations with 3-year rotation. Over 4500 numerical data were statistically evaluated using methods of regression analysis and ANOVA. Resultsconfirmed very close relation between height and stem diameter depending on factors of diameter (D0.3 or D1.0), locality, growth habit (number of stems), clone and functions of regression analysis. Biggest influence had factor of clone and best resultswere found with use of power and polynomial functions of regression analysis. Analýza růstových parametrů rychle rostoucích dřevin pěstovaných v krátkém obmýtí za účelem produkce biomasy

Článek se zabývá otázkou analýzy růstových parametrů vybraných klonů rychle rostoucích dřevin testovaných pro produkci biomasy ve výmladkových plantážích s cílem zdokonalit metodiku hodnocení klonů. Je prezentována použitá metodika a výsledky hodnocení výšky kmene (H), průměru kmene (D), počtu kmenů 36 klonů vrb a topolů pěstovaných ve 3-letém obmýtí ve 4 pokusných porostech. Více než 4500 numerických údajů bylo statisticky zpracováno regresní analýzou a analýzou variance ANOVA. Výsledky potvrdily existenci velmi těsné závislosti mezi výškou a průměru kmene, která závisela na faktorech: typ průměru (D0,3 nebo D1,0), lokalita, habituální růst (počet kmenů), klon a také na funkci regresní analýzy. Největší vliv na těsnost závislosti měl faktor klon a nejlepší výsledky byly zjištěny u jednotlivých klonů dosaženo při použití mocninné a polynomické funkce regresní analýzy.
