The paper deals with an assessment of the development and changes of the Ivančice region landscape in 1837-2006. The monitoring of changes in this landscape was based on old topographic maps in combination with other historical material (photographs, chronicles). The landscape development was observed on the basis of analyzing land use changes in five periods of time. Results of these analyses revealed a distinct simplification of the landscape structure and particularly a radical shrinkage of permanentgrassland stands since the 1950s.

Czech description
Příspěvek se zabývá hodnocením historického vývoje krajiny Ivančicka v období 1837-2006. Sledování změn na Ivančicku je založeno na studiu starách topografických map a jiných historických materiálů (fotografie, kroniky). Vývoj krajiny byl sledován na základě analýz změn krajiny v pěti sledovaných obdobích. Výsledky analýz poukazují na zjednodušení krajinné struktury a především radikální úbytek trvalých travních porostů od 50.let.
