The survey of some factors affecting bark lesion development caused by Phytophthora cactorum on common beech and other broadleaved trees
Original language description
The pathogenicity of P. cactorum and other Phytophthora spp. to forest tree species was confirmed. The difference in pathogenicity level among several Phytophthora species and the different sensitivity of forest tree species to infection were demonstrated. The substrate specificity in P. cactorum was confirmed. The effect of water stress and season on disease development was demonstrated.
