The experiments were focused on evaluation of some endogenous cytokinins (BAP, mT, tZ, DHZ, iP and BAR, mTR, tZR, DHZR, iPR). When exogenous benzyladenine was added to culture medium, its hyper accumulation was observed in leaves of regenerants of the resistant M06 clone. Their uptake was 2.3-5.5 x higher that of AH clone. On the other hand the regeneration ability of in vitro culture of M06 clone was lower compared with AH clone. In case of meta-topolin application maximum shoot production was achievedon medium with 1 mg L-1 mT for both clones. However, some problems in morphological responses to exogenous growth regulators appeared with the resistant clone. They are probably connected with biochemical differences.
