Assessment of Land Use Changes in Landscape Conservation Areas based on LUCC Database
Original language description
The paper devote its interest to landscape conservation areas (LCA). LCA present unusual sections of the landscape as these are mainly the areas associated with their historical and cultural importance, protected by the Czech Culture Ministry. The analysis of the time extent of landscape changes is quite large as it monitors it in 1845, 1945, 1990 up to 2000, making use of the databases prepared at the Fakulty of Science of Charles University in Prague. The work with LCAs that have a smaller dimension than territorial units of the LUCC database was methodologicaly important.
