    Monoclonal antibodies against dominant antigens of rotavirus group A, transmissible gastroeneritis virus (TGEV) and porcine epidemic diarrhoea virus (PEDV) were prepared. Specific and sensitive blocking ELISA methods based on the use of monoclonal antibodies have been developed. These methods enable diagnosis of the three major causative agens of viral gastroenteritis by simple examination of faeces of diarhoeic piglets. The significance of a sensitive and specific diagnosis for application of aimed immunoprophylactic measures has been emphasised
