    During a 5 year period the incidence of bovine and human tuberculosis in cattle and other animals from: Croatia (HRV), Czech Republic, Hungary (HUN), Poland (POL), Slovakia (SVK), and Slovenia (SVN) was evaluated. Skin testing with bovine tuberculin incattle was carried out regularly. CZE,HUN,POL,SVK, and SVN were officially declared free of bovine tuberculosis in cattle. Bovine tuberculosis was diagnosed in a total of 188 cattle herds: 145 outbreaks in small herds and 43 outbreaks in large herds.Bovinetuberculosis was diagnosed in animal species in zoo: 2 camels (CZE), 1 tiger (HUN), 1 bison and one eland (POL), and in 1 dromedary camel and 2 bison (SVN). In wild animals, bovine tuberculosis was diagnosed in wild boar in HUN and HRV, in 6 reddeer inHUN, in 14 bison and 2 roe deer in POL. Infections caused by M.tuberculosis were diagnosed in 4 cattle and 2 pigs in POL, in 1 cattle in SVN, in 1 dog in the CZE and in 1 dog in HUN. M. africanum was diagnosed in 1 hyrax in a zoo in HRV.

    Počet nových případů bovinní a humánní tuberkulózy u skotu a ostatních zvířat v šesti státech střední Evropy během let 2000-2004

    V průběhu pětileté periody byla analyzována incidence bovinní (BTB) a humánní (HTB) tuberkulózy u skotu a ostatních zvířat z: Chorvatska (HRV), České republiky, Maďarska (HUN), Polska (POL), Slovenska (SVK) a Slovinska (SVN). Tuberkulinace bovinnímtuberkulinem byla u skotu prováděna pravidelně. CZE,HUN,POL,SVK a SVN byly oficiálně uznány jako země prosté BTB u skotu. BTB byla diagnostikována celkem ve 188 stádech skotu: 145 ohnisek v malých a 43 ohnisek ve velkých stádech skotu. BTB byla zjištěnataké uzvířat v zoo: 2 velbloudi dvouhrbí (CZK), 1 tygr (HUN), 1 bizon a 1 antilopa (POL) a 1 jednohrbý velbloud a 2 bizoni (SVN). U divokých zvířat byla BTB diagnostikována u dvou divokých prasat (HUN a HRV), u 6 jelenů lesních (HUN), 14 zubrůevropských a 2 srnce obecného (POL). M. tuberculosis bylo diagnostikováno u 4 kusů skotu a 2 prasat v POL, u 1 kusu skotu v SVN, u 1 psa v CZE a u 1 psa v HUN. M. africanum bylo diagnostikováno u 1 damana v zoo v HRV.
