Original language description

The objective of the experiment was to assess the effect of a starter diet with a 10% share of treated rape cake characterized by reduced glucosinolate content on calf performance, growth and health. No significant change of nitrogen, energy, lipid and mineral metabolism, health or hepatic parenchyma and thyroid was observed throughout the experimental period. The diet based on experimental starter Grant had no negative effect on the calves' ruminal fermentation. An insignificantly higher calf weight was recorded in experimental group at the end of the experimental period. It may therefore be concluded that the starter diet with a 10% share of treated rape cake had not negative effect on calf growth and performance.

Použití upravených řepkových výlisků ve startéru pro telata

Czech description

Cílem pokusu bylo posoudit vliv zkrmování startéru s 10% zastoupením upravených řepkových výlisků se sníženým obsahem glukosinolátů na růst, vývoj a zdravotní stav telat. V průběhu pokusného období nebyly u telat pozorovány žádné významné změny ukazatelůdusíkatého, energetického, lipidového a minerálního metabolismu, zdravotního stavu a funkce jaterního parenchymu a štítné žlázy telat. Zkrmování pokusného startéru se neprojevilo negativně na průběhu bachorové fermentace telat. Na konci sledovaného období byla zaznamenána statisticky nevýznamně vyšší hmotnost telat pokusné skupiny. Lze tedy konstatovat, že zkrmování startéru s 10% zastoupením upravených řepkových výlisků nemělo negativní vliv na růst a vývoj telat.
