Omsk hemorrhagic fever (OHF) is an important human disease caused by Omsk hemorrhagic fever virus (OHFV), a member of the virus family Flaviviridae. OHF was described between 1945 and 1947 in Siberia, Russia from patients with hemorrhagic fever. This chapter summarizes the current knowledge on etiology, epidemiology, ecology, pathogenesis, clincial presentation, diagnosis and threatment of OHF.
