Feed enriched by autochthonous probiotic bacteria and its effect on growth and immune response under different feeding regimes and immune response after Aeromonas salmonicida infection in rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss)
Original language description
This study investigated the effect of a newly developed probiotic feed based on an autochtonous probiotic strain of Lactobacillus plantarum R2 BiocenolTM on the immune response of healthy rainbow trout and fish after Aeromonas salmonicida infection. These results confirmed the ability of probiotics to alter the immune response and slow the progression of infection in rainbow trout, laying the foundation for further research and use in fish rearing.
