677TT Genotype Is Associated with Elevated Risk of Methotrexate (MTX) Toxicity in Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis: Treatment Outcome, Erythrocyte Concentrations of MTX and Folates, and MTHFR Polymorphisms
Original language description
The probability of methotrexate-associated toxicity in patients with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA) was significantly higher in patients with 677TT genotype of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase. Adequate erythrocyte concentration of methotrexate was accumulated in JIA patients with insufficient drug response to parenteral methotrexate (nonresponders).
