We thank Li and Li for their thoughtful commentary on our recent publication in the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology addressing the role of regulatory T cells (Tregs) in idiopathic preterm labor (PTL). Their insights enrich the discussion on maternal-fetal immune interactions and support emerging evidence that immune dysregulation may underlie a subset of spontaneous PTL cases.
