Cutaneous Panniculitis in Q Fever: A Case of Diagnostic Granulomas
Original language description
Q fever is an uncommon zoonotic infection caused by the obligate intracellular Gram-negative bacterium Coxiella burnetii, typically transmitted via aerosols, and less commonly through foodborne routes or tick bites. We report a case of granulomatous lobular panniculitis as the initial presentation of acute C. burnetii infection.
