Incidence of different types of lower urinary tract dysfunctions discovered by urological examination in patiens with residual diuresis planned for renal transplantation.

  • Original language description

Incidence of symptomatic or asymptomatic lower urinary tract dysfunctions (LUTD) in patients with residual diuresis planned for renal transplantation is high and it is getting higher with the increasing age and severity of comorbidities of patients planned for transplantation in the last decade. Many of LUTD may be of great importance because of the potential risk for the transplanted kidney. The aim of the study was to estimate the incidence of different types of LUTD in the group of patients planned for renal transplantation within the last 3 years.
