The case report presents a polymorbid patient who developed a manifest ischemic disease of lower extremities. After a temporary success of endovascular revascularization a recurrent worsening of ischemia of lower extremities occurred due to patient?s undisciplined lifestyle and a cumulation of risk factors of atherosclerosis. An additional revascularization procedure was not technically possible. The patient?s condition has significantly improved after the initiation of the treatment with sulodexide, the claudication interval has been significantly prolonged. The patient?s general quality of life has also significantly improved.
