Original language description
Tubenose goby Proterorhinus marmoratus in recorded in the Czech Republic in 1994. It is explosively expanding since 1997 and at present, there is a contonuous occurence in the middle and lower Dyje and lower Morava rivers (Danube river tributaries) and their tributaries as far as to Danube river. Tubenose goby is a dominant fish species in the littoral zone of the lower Dyje river. Different population densities and expansion rate are presented.
