Type or model species of all trogositid genera are described and illustrated. Eight genera are synonymized, two genera are removed from Trogositidae and classified within other beetle families. Two new species are described and one new combination is established. The communication is accompanied with 71 tables of illustrations.

Czech description
V práci jsou popsány a ilustrovány typové nebo modelové druhy všech rodů čeledi Trogositidae. Osm rodů je synonymizováno, dva rody jsou vyjmuty z Trogositidae a přemístěny do jiných čeledí. Jsou popsány dva nové druhy a ustanovena jedna nová kombinace. Práci doplňuje 71 celostránkových tabulí ilustrací.
