Mendel's input into the 21st century that is called the era of information evokes great interest. It has been generally claimed that Mendel discovered genetic information. His model of the transfer of genetic information was verified experimentally in peas and published in Brno in 1865. Mendels achievement may be most accurately interpretedin terms of the discipline of bioinformation.
