Original language description
Since the end of 885, after the dead of Methodius, only those priest who celebrated the mass in Latin remained in Moravia. In 900 the papal legates John, Daniel and Benedict arrived from Roma in Great Moravia and ordained a new archbishop and three bishops to Moravians. At the end of the first decade of the 10th century Great Moravia as an important political entity promoting Christianity ceased to exist.
