Chapter provides available information about the history and methodology of the research, stratigraphy and dating of the site, and the palaeoenvironment of the Middle Palaeolithic horizons. The main goal of the chapter is presenting of results of techno-typological analysis. The questions of homogeneity and cultural classification of the Middle Palaeolithic assemblage are discussed.
