Original language description
Under the term „Great Moravian juwellery of the Veligrat type“ we currently mainly understand earrings and buttons, finger rings, metal beads, pandants and some other, often solitary, objects. They were mostly made of a gold-silver-copper alloy. The jewellery-making technoques – granulation and filigree, vchich involve working with tiny „poppy seed-sizes“ granules and wires, sporadically combined with inlays of glas, semi-precious stones or glasspaste - applied were often very inticate, especially in Staré Město.
