The five hundred years long use of Výšina sv. Metoděje in Uherské Hradiště – Sady, from the end of the 9th to the beginning of the 13th century, hides a story of the beginnings of Christianity – not only in Moravia in Central Europe. Some parts of this story have already beeb revealed, while others, in particular, the role of the Sady church and necropolis in the period from the 9th to the 13 century, are awaiting clarification. Together with a complex understanding of the people buried in Uherské Hradiště-Sady, these are the main objectives of the currenrt detailed assessment of the Sady finds.
