Occurence of intermediate hosts and structure of digenean communities of the black-headed gull, Larus ridibundus
Original language description
Thirteen different digeneas species from digestive tract and the bursa of Fabricius were found. Presence of intermediate hosts is the factor limiting the qualitative and quantitative similarity of parasite community among different populations as well asinfluencing the digenean species diversity in the definitive host. Digenean species diversity was higher when the water reservoir was exposed to temporal drying.
Czech name
Rozšíření mezihostitelů a struktura společenstva motolic racka chechtavého
