Original language description
A faunistic review of the family Anthomyzidae in Latvia is given, based on both published records and unpublished material deposited in the Institute of Biology, University of Latvia, Salaspils, Latvia (IBUL). Eleven species have been recognized; 4 species, viz. Anthomyza pallida (Zetterstedt, 1838), Paranthomyza nitida (Meigen, 1838), Stiphrosoma cingulatum (Haliday, 1855) and Stiphrosoma laetum (Meigen, 1830) are new additions to the dipterous fauna of Latvia. Data about the biology and distribution of each Latvian species are provided.

Czech description
Je podán faunistický přehled druhů čeledi Anthomyzidae z Lotyšska založený na publikovaných údajích a materiálu uloženém v Biologickém institutu Lotyšské univerzity v Salaspils. Bylo zjištěno 11 druhů; 4 druhy, Anthomyza pallida (Zetterstedt, 1838), Paranthomyza nitida (Meigen, 1838), Stiphrosoma cingulatum (Haliday, 1855) a Stiphrosoma laetum (Meigen, 1830) jsou nové pro území Lotyšska. Práce je doplněna údaji o bionomiii a rozšíření všech zjištěných druhů.
