Original language description
A case of multple embolisms in the lef coronary artery as a rare frst manifestaton of lef atrial myxoma is reported. A patent with embolic myocardial infarcton and congestve heart failure was treated by percutaneous aspiratons and balloon dilatatons. Transesophageal echocardiography disclosed a villous myxoma with high embolic potental. Surgical resecton of the tumour, suturing of a patent foramen ovale suture and an annuloplasty of the dilated tricuspid annulus was performed the third day afer the admission. Recovery of the documented lef ventricular systolic functon can be explained by resorpton of myxomatous material. The patent was discharged ten days afer the surgery
