Although the water content measurements are widely used in industry, metrological considerations for this measure is not fully accomplished in order to provide reliable and traceable measurements to SI. To remedy this, the joint research project, Joint Research Project SIB64 "METefnet - Metrology for moisture in materials", is currently in progress, and contributes to the European Metrology Research program European Metrology Research Programme. METefnet The project aims to develop and improve the metrological approach to the subject. This includes in particular: work on new methods of reference to evaluate the mass fraction of water, improvement of measures implementing the primary type method Karl Fischer titration, the development of new certified reference materials with very good stability and enabling traceability to the SI, the development of new transfer standards, conducting studies to quantify and reduce the effects associated with sampling, transportation and handling, the d
