JRP SIB51 Graphohm Report - D4.1.3 Report on cold finger with device holder
Original language description
In close collaboration with CMI, METAS has designed heat-conductive parts of the cold finger that were implemented in the CMI's cryo-cooled setup. The cold finger was optimised to fit three devices: cryocooler, magnet and vacuum vessel. The cold finger was attached to the second stage of the cryocooler and transfers heat from the sample to the cryocooler. The cold finger consists of three parts, which are screwed together when installed in the vacuum vessel. The total length of the cold finger is set so the sample attached to the TO-8 holder fits the magnetic centre of the magnet (see deliverable 4.1.1 for dimensions of the magnet).
