Since almost all devices fabricated within the project showed metrological suitable DC properties enough devices to test in AC were available. Different tests are needed to proof the metrological suitability of devices in AC, which is the prerequisite for traceability of impedance units to the QHE. It is a known fact that operating QHR devices with AC currents results in deviations from the DC value of the order of few parts in 107 per kHz due to AC losses within the QHR device, as summarized before. This frequency dependence is considered by a detailed study of the AC characteristics and a suitable method to compensate or correct for the deviations from the DC value.
