CMI used their wind tunnel with LDA to calibrate an S-type Pitot tube combined with interchangeable probe for isokinetic sampling. Calibration curves of the Pitot tube were compared for configurations without sampling probe installed and with several types of sampling probes installed. Possible errors of gas speed measurement in stacks and consequent errors of concentration measurements with isokinetic sampling were determined when using the Pitot tube with another sampling probe than the one installed during the calibration.
