This document will act as a technical guide on the evaluation of flow quantities in microfluidic devices. In this guide, the measurement methods for the most important flow quantities in the microflow range are explained in detail. Finally, three selected examples will show how this guide can be implemented and how such measurements are carried out for microfluidic devices. The current version reflects the actual practice applied in European National Metrology Institutes in terms of calibration procedures.
