The aim was to compare the extent of posterior capsule opacification (PCO) after AquaLase and NeoSonix phacoemulsification methods using two types of software for PCO guantification. There was no significant difference in PCO measured by EPCO 2000.

Cílem práce je srovnání rozsahu opacit zadního pouzdra (PCO) po operaci katarakty dvěma různýnmi metodami: AquaLase a NeoSonix za použití dvou různých softwarů pro kvantifikaci PCO. Nezjistili jsme statisticky významný rozdíl v PCO při použití metody EPCO 2000.
