    Two iron chelators - deferoxamine and 2-pyridylcarboxaldehyde-2-thiophenecarboxyl hydrazone (PCTH) - were tested on isoprenaline model of myocardial toxicity. Deferoxamine was not efficient while PCTH reduced some markers of cardiac injury.
