Allogeneic haematopoietic stem cell transpantation (HSCT) has become a major life sustaining treatment for haematopoietic disorders, and it is the preffered treatment option for selected patients with idiopatic myelofibrosis. Still, it may be accompaniedby various complications. Here, we present a case of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)-associated post-transplant lymphoproliferative disorder (PTLD), i.e. an infection-induced malignant proliferation following HSCT.
