Original language description

Mutation screening of codons 3456-3553 of the apolipoprotein B gene both in 95 unrelated patients with isolated hypercholesterolemia and in 47 unrelated patients with combined hyperlipidemia was performed. Mutation R3500Q was detected in 13 of 95 patients with isolated hypercholesterolemia (13,7%) and in 2 of 47 patients with combined hyperlipidemia (4,3%). No other mutations were found.
