MDM2 SNP309 does not associate with elevated MDM2 protein expression or breast cancer risk

  • Original language description

The incidence of SNP309 polymorphism in the promoter sequence of MDM2 determined in different tumor samples and compared to protein levels of MDM2 and p53. Neither the association between SNP309 and cancer risk, nor the responsibility of G allele for increased MDM2 or decreased of p53 protein levels in human primary breast tumors was shown.
