Osteoblasts and osteoklasts in bone marrow smears of breast cancer patients
Original language description
Oasteoblasts and osteoclasts can be seen only rarely in normal bone marrow smears of healthy adults. The authors presens the high frequency of these cells in bone marrow smears of cancer patients. The presence of osteoblasts or osteoclasts in bone marrowsmears can serve as a marker for dissemination of the tumor.
