Contra-indications of therapeutic laser.
Original language description
Non-invasive laser therapy is a modern treatment method employed in many disciplines. Its development is also supported by the current offer of modern therapeutic lasers. In the Czech Republic this is a topical field, which is also documented by the fact that it belongs to the first five countries of the world in equipping medical institutions with these appliances. The situation is rather different as to the information of the medical public about wide indication possibilities of the non-invasive laser therapy with minimum possible damage to the patient and thus, many suitable patients are even not sent to institutions equipped with the necessary technical means. In contrast to this, the physicians are overloaded with a number of contraindications, many of which being useless. Thus, it is necessary to divide the still reported contraindications into three groups as follows: - justified - doubtful under certain condition -erroneous.
