Original language description
This study evaluated the effects of ropinirole prolonged-release (RPR) in comparison with ropinirole immediate-release (RIR) on sleep-related disorders in Parkinson disease (PD). After switching to ropinirole prolonged-release, patients reported significantly improved sleep quality and less daytime sleepiness according to following questionnaires: Epworth sleepiness scale, Parkinson's disease sleep scale and Pittsburgh sleep quality index. Moreover, 13 patients reported disappearance of sleep attacks.
