High-dose immunoablation with autologous haematopoietic stem cell transplantation in aggressive multiple sclerosis: a single centre 10-year experience
Original language description
We present in this original paper ten-year follow-up data of the patients with aggressive multiple sclerosis treated with high-dose immunoablation and autologous stem cells transplantation. Our results support this treatment option in adequately definedmultiple sclerosis patients (up to 35 years old, with disease duration up to 5 years, still relapsing-remitting form of the disease). Treatment related mortality was 0%. There was a low number of adverse events and this method is relatively safe.
