III. International Symposium on Gene Regulation in Normal and Pathologic States (G3 2012) - Genes, Genetics & Genomics G3 Prague Meeting

  • Original language description

This one-day symposium is organized by BIOCEV research groups, and it aims to summarize recent discoveries on physiological as well as pathological cellular and molecular processes achieved by using global "omics-" and systems-biology methodologies as well as focused biochemical functional approaches. Diverse research areas will be covered, including gene regulation at the levels of chromatin structure, transcription, post-transcriptional control of gene function by ncRNAs and alternative splicing, impact of the environmental stimuli and their cross-talk with the cellular signaling and gene regulation networks and effects on the genetic make-up of target cells. An important emphasis of the presentations will be aimed at the latest technological advances in genetic manipulations, high-throughput genomics and proteomics and the contribution of these techniques to our improved understanding of stem cell biology, embryonic development, cell differentiation, tissue homeostasis and of the on
