The Human Prostate Cancer Assay is a fluorescent bead based immunoassay for the quantitative measurement of human Prostate secretory protein of 94 amino acids (PSP94). This singleplex protein assay is characterized by high sensitivity and wide dynamic range of the measurement. PSP94 is one of the major secretory proteins of the prostate glands. A differential expression between benign tissue and prostate cancer (PC) could make PSP94 a prognostic clinical marker for PC and could help distinguish patients with aggressive forms of PC. Economical parameters
The economic parameters of the multiplex kit from the TIP grant project (FR-TI3/666) refer to the period 2015-2017. The product was just released in 2015 and its further potential increase in sales is linked to the completion of the CE-IVD certification. Diagnostic kit developed under the TIP grant project have an average yearly increase in sales of 35% (2015-2017) and sales strongly vary in time. In addition, the product price is contractual in nature and depends on the number of diagnostic kits purchased in a period of time and the end-user price is not fixed but being always derived from the basic selling price.
