Project for an Innovative Textbook of Greek and Latin Medical Terminology in Programmes of General Medicine
Original language description
The article outlines a future textbook which is designed with the aim of modernizing Greek and Latin medical terminology instruction. This innovation is based primarily on the rejection of the traditional grammar-oriented approach. The key goals are to balance the language form of a medical term with its medical content, and to reflect the real state of how the medical terminology is used in practice. The textbook will be designed according to a tripartite structure.
