GABA(B) receptor agonist baclofen has non-specific antinociceptive effect in the model of peripheral neuropathy in the rat
Original language description
Specific GABAB receptor agonist baclofen is used in clinical practice for the treatment of spasticity but it also exerts an analgesic effect. In this work we describe this effect, which was attenuated in the model of chronic neuropathic pain, probably due to the degeneration of GABA interneurons after chronic constriction injury.

Agonista GABA(B) receptoru baklofen má u modelu periferní neuropatie nespecifický antinocicepční účinek
