Effects of anesthesia and nociceptive stimulation in an experimental model of brachial plexus avulsion
Original language description
Extensive dorsal rhizotomy of brachial plexus, which is used as a model of deafferentational pain, performed under ketamine anesthesia in rats do not result in development of selfmutilation. This effect might be suppressed by short period of nociceptivestimulation of the limb just before the induction into anesthesia. These results suggest crucial role of anesthesia involving NMDA receptors, and the role of injury discharge in the model.

Vliv anestezie a nocicepční stimulace u modelu avulze brachiálního plexu
Czech description
Výsledky ukazují zapojení NMDA receptorů do rozvoje neuropatické bolesti a zdůrazňují roli výboje z poranění.
