The work compares results of the DREZ thermocoagulation procedure in the group of patients, where the localization of the DREZ using direct spinal cord stimulation was performed to the group of patients, where the localization of the DREZ was not performed. Results of pain relief were significantly better in the group of patients with performed localization. There was no difference in postoperative neurological deterioration between the group of patients.

Czech description
Práce srovnává výsledky DREZ termokoagulace ve skupině pacientů, ukterých byla prováděna lokalizace DREZ pomocí přímé stimulace míšního povrchu se skupinou pacientů, ukterých lokalizace prováděna nebyla. Výsledky ve smyslu úlevy od neztišitelných bolestíbyly statisticky významně lepší ve skupině pacientů sprováděnou lokalizací. Míra pooperačních komplikací se významně nelišila.
