The effect of motor cortex stimulation in deafferentated rats
Original language description
The aim of the study was to describe the effect of motor cortex stimulation on pain thresholds in deafferentated rats. Defferentation itself increased pain threshold in the unaffected limbs, under motor cortex stimulation, the pain thresholds did not differ from pre-deafferentation values. The effect of stimulation disappeared in 24 hours.
Czech name
Vliv stimulace motorické kůry u deaferentovaných potkanů
