The posterior circumflex humeral artery turning under the tendon of the latissimus dorsi: a case report.
Original language description
We present a case of an anomalous branching of the axillary artery, combined from two variants with mutual linkage, concerning the posterior circumflex humeral and profunda brachii arteries. This variant is important in the case of the collateral circulation because it reduces the number of collateral interconnections and increases the danger of the development of ischaemia in cases of an arterial occlusion.
