Correlation of NT-proBNP, proANP and novel biomarkers: Copeptin and proadrenomedullin with LVEF and NYHA in patients with ischemic CHF, non-ischemic CHF and arterial hypertension

  • Original language description

Novel biomarkers contributing to heart failure pathophysiology included copeptin and proadrenomedullin have additional prognostic information when assessed together with natriuretic peptides. The purpose of the present study was to assess correlation ofcopeptin (COP), adrenomedullin (proADM), proBNP and proANP with NYHA class, LVEF and other parameters in CHF patients with ischemic and non-ischemic cardiomyopathy and subjects with arterial hypertension followed at tertiary care heart function clinic.
