Guidelines assist in selecting the best strategies for patients. Decisions must be made individually in consultation with the patient. Health professionals should verify the rules and regulations applicable to drugs and devices at the time of prescription. The level of evidence and the strength of recommendations are in Tables 1 and 2. The Czech Society of Cardiology (CSC) is endorsing and implementing all ESC Guidelines.
