MediGrid - Facilitating Semantic-Based processing of Biomedical Data and Knowledge
Original language description
New ICT approaches promise better support to the traditional ways that medicine handles information. The need of explicit and detailed documentation of biomedical algorithms leads to the requirements of creating semantic binding between the knowledge sources, algorithms and processed data. A proof-of-concept implementation of a system based on this principle has been published on Sourceforge.
